On 30 May 2026, philosopher and author Acharya Prashant is scheduled to deliver a fireside chat at the Cambridge Union as part of the Cambridge India Business Dialogue 2026, an annual forum organised by the Cambridge India Business Society under the auspices of the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. The dialogue brings together leaders from business, policy, and academia to examine questions at the intersection of India-UK relations, commerce, and governance. His session, a fireside chat hosted by a distinguished professor from Cambridge, will run from approximately 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm BST, taking place within a day-long programme at the venue. The stated theme of his session is “Indian Contemplative Traditions as Applied to Climate Change, Inequality, and Global Responsibility.”

Acharya Prashant is the founder of the PrashantAdvait Foundation, a non-profit whose work spans philosophical education, environmental outreach, animal welfare, and life-education. His philosophical framework draws from multiple traditions, including Vedanta and Madhyamika Buddhism, while maintaining a position distinct from any single school. The UK tour follows an extended series of institutional engagements across India. Between August 2025 and April 2026, Acharya Prashant conducted over 200 sessions spanning 18 cities and more than 16 premier campuses, according to a March 2026 reporting by India.com.
